“Manna From Psyche”, an Augmented Reality art installation intended for the Emerge Festival 2020, “Eating on the Edge”. This will be a large-scale (several hundred feet across) 3d AR piece which will rotate high (50-100 feet) above the heads of the spectators, showering (nourishing) them with illuminated particles (stars/manna).

The installation pulls together past, present & future, as well as ideas about science, space exploration & nourishment of the mind & soul (psyche), together with sense of place (the surface of the asteroid will be textured with stylized petroglyphs & the reddish color of Arizona mountains), & a reinterpretation of “manna” as “sustenance from unexpected places”.
